Improving Time Management With Some Time Management Training

So if you've been to my Youtube page and checked out my video series called "3 Minute Marketing or Less" you would see that I did a video on Time Management correct? Well I felt that this video need that extra something, so I figured I'd write a blog on it to go into a little more detail. But before I do that check out the video below rate, comment, and then subscribe to my channel after you finish reading this article.

I found a great article on Time Management on some great time management tips so I'm going to list some of them here and talk about them in detail. That way you can begin learning time management in real time and apply it in your business, which will in turn make you seem omnipresent.

1) Realize that time management is a myth.

I do agree that you can't necessarily compartmentalize time, but I do agree that you can better manage your time more effectively. With anything it takes practice and work and time management is no exception. The more you work at it the more efficient you become. It's a process that requires time and patience so that you can gain time management skills and become more productive!

2) Find out where you're wasting time.

After you're done with this article try this exercise: Grab a legal pad and a pen or get a tape recorder and document everything that you do tomorrow. (Be Honest) You'd be surprised at how much time you waste on trivial things. Like me for instance: I tend to take a 5-6 hour nap every day after work, so just imagine if I limited those naps by 2-3 hours how much more I could get done during the day. So when you do this exercise you can just imagine how many time holes you could find in your day to do a little bit more to further build your business.

3) Create time management goals.

Just like with standard goal setting you should aspire to set goals to better manage your time as well. So say like me you like to take long naps during the day, make it your main objective for the week to limit that nap to just 3 hours a day. Be specific because the more wiggle room you give yourself, the more you could potentially set yourself up to fail. Slowly target weak point by weak point and you will start to see how much more effectively you manage your time.

4) Implement a time management plan.

So as with #3 on making goals now you need a plan to effectively target the goals. Make a list of all the things you would do with the freed up time, in addition to what you need to eliminate weak point wise to accomplish your goals overall.

5) Use time management tools.

So now you know where you weak points are and how to fix them you need something to help you stay on target. You could use day management software, a day planner, or simply just write everything you have to do for the day down and post it on walls around you home and office to remind you about staying on track.

Harnessing time management skills is an art as well as a practice and there are so many more things you could do to help you effectively manage your time it's insane. If you'd like to read the rest of the article go to: Claim Your Time HERE!!

I hope you enjoyed these tips for time management and I hope you begin working on these skills along with me because the better you become at managing your time the more time you have freed up to do the stuff you want to do :) Till next time be good and be easy...

How To Be An Absolute PROFESSIONAL In The Network Marketing Industry (Rookies Make No Money)

I wanted to share an important message with my friends around Cyberspace and just show the true power of what it means to have a mentor who doesn't sugar code the truth and doesn't promise you anything. He instead teaches you principles and gives you content that you can use to shape yourself into that leader that figure head at the top of any company you invest in or become a part of. There's a link to a video below I want you to click on it, watch it, and really listen to what Johnathan Budd has to say and then come back here so I can help you really take in the value of this message.

How To Be An Absolute PROFESSIONAL In The Network Marketing Industry. (Rookies Make No Money)

Posted using ShareThis

There are 3 definitive quotes that I really would like to discuss that Johnathan mentions in this video that completely blow past people that are new in this industry (Including myself), but if you take the time to listen to them you could really learn something.

"Network Marketing is a right of passage you come into this industry, I don't think you deserve success when you first come into this industry"

BOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM! That's what I call a C4 message... It hits you in the stomach and makes you really evaluate your position in this industry. It stops you in your tracks and makes you second guess yourself and what you're really doing, and why you're doing it. He is so right too! If you come into this industry and think you deserve success right off the bat then you're sadly mistaken. It is a right of passage to just be in this industry, to be sitting at home and making money doing it. So many people worry about making money that they undervalue the importance of paying dues, waiting their turn, and learning their craft or trade but still wonder why they're not successful. You need to learn from somebody before you can be somebody and that's just the way it is, though even if you have success right off the bat you still haven't learned enough to be a Professional and that's what the true outcome should be all about not the money!

"Network Marketing will change you from the inside out"

Another bullet point from the Master Johnathan Budd that hits you right between the eyes but this one is more cerebral then the other 2 because you don't quite get this one right away (Especially if you're a Newbie). See I too have not been in the industry for a great length of time but from the all the trainings I've been on, all the Webinars, all the videos I've watched, books I've read you start to begin to see subtle changes. You start to see changes in how you think, how you talk, how you act, how you conduct conversations, you start to see changes in every aspect of your daily life from the mundane to the extreme. Very slowly you begin to notice how you approach situations from a whole new aspect of thought.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The reason why I say this is because if you're anything like me then you've tried to the best of your ability surround yourself with everything marketing, so much so that it becomes the highlight focal point of your day. You look forward to chatting on Facebook and Myspace, you enjoy Tweeting along with updating people on your progress, you find keyword research to be exciting, and you get excited every time you see someone has subscribed to your list and is interested in joining your business. If you were running a business the only aspect you'd be excited about is the amount of money you made for the month. Running a business can be enjoyable if it's your passion, but eventually it becomes exactly what you were trying to get away from in the first place a JOB.... And you wake up one morning and realize you've become more concerned with your bottom line then you have the fact that you own your own business.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Whereas in Network Marketing the reverse is true, every aspect of your day is a surprise and a gift. From the responses you get to your blogs and Ezines, to the ratings and comments you get on your home made vids, what industry do you know where everyone is so positive? Remember that the more you surround yourself with a certain type of people the more you become like the people you're surrounded by, which at the end of the day is going to force you to change for the better inside and out.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

"I can promise you, any opportunity you're in right now is training ground, any single one you're in I don't care if you're the top producer, I don't care if you're brand new it's training ground for you to become better and better at what you do"

He hit the nail on the head with this point!! Everything you do in this industry is training and breeding for you to become a overall better professional. If you're in a company no matter which one it is you're going to have to conform it to you, you're going to have to make it your own from the way you market it all the way down to the way you present it. You find out what works, what doesn't, what you need to tweak or how you can improve a tweak to work even better. This business constantly makes you tinker with yourself like a mechanic would under the hood. There's always a new upgrade or new part that you can put in your car to make it run faster and last longer the same applies in Network Marketing.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

There is always something out there you can use to make your business convert more prospects, generate more leads, or just help you improve your professionalism overall. Each company or business opportunity your in is not only a financial investment but is a personal investment in yourself, the more you do the more you become, the more you become the better you'll be. It's a process that is slowly but surely taking you to where you want to be.

So in conclusion I want everyone that is reading this to just BE, don't worry about the money, and don't become to obsessed with results. If you concentrate on what you do and how you do it, you can't help but become successful no matter how long it takes. If you feel like quitting because you haven't gotten the results you wanted then you weren't meant for this industry anyway. I just hope you understand the message and don't take for granted how good you're going to eventually have it. Stay the course my friends and come meet me at the summit I'll be waiting!

I'll leave you guys with this video of me talking about virtually the same thing just maybe in a politer tone... But I believe that sometimes people need a swift kick in the ass to succeed!

The Dangers of Facebook - Personal Experience

So a lot of this I've learned through trial and error but sometimes that's the best way to learn, but then again sometimes it isn't especially if someone made the mistakes for you. I'm not going to lie (A lot of people will and are going to) I use a friend adder tool on Facebook to gain friends, just because I don't have all day to connect with people, send them nice compliments, and learn every single detail about them. Since I've become a Network Marketer I've really learned the value of time and managing it so what better way to manage it then to use tools to help you do so.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

So I use Facebook Friend Adder Elite to add friends, and it's a really great tool. You can gather friend ID's, you can send mass messages, you can poke, and you can write on peoples walls (Though that feature is down for right now). It really just makes life easier for someone who not only wants to mass market (The right way), really just gain a lot of exposure and contacts quickly. With anything great though my friends you must be very careful with how you use these tools or else you may accidentally abuse them, but here I'm going to teach you how to avoid this through my own experiences.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

#1. Live by the rule that your under investigation: What that means is when you're adding friends always look at it from the point of view that you may have been flagged (Especially on Facebook because you may have and not even know it until you're too late). The friend add per day limit on Facebook is 50 but if you're adding friends daily then you might want to keep it between 25-40 (40 is on the aggressive side), or you can vary it up with different amounts per day (20 one day, 10 another, 45 another, ect). Also note never to add 50 friends in one day, just for the simple fact that it's right on the ceiling and all it takes is for you to add 1 friend more before the 24 hour period then BOOM! You're flagged for misuse of the friend adding feature. Give yourself a 5 friend adding reprieve so that you don't accidentally go over the per day limit.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

#2. Vary up your messages, make them personalized: Most Bot adders programs allow you to send multiple amounts of messages to people your adding at one time except for Friend Adder Elite. Friend Adder Elite only allows you to send one message at a time but I still highly recommend you write multiple messages in a word document program and send your messages in groups of 10 or 20 with different messages each time. Why do this? Just in case the people you're adding know each other (In most cases they will) you'll have a lower chance of sending the same message to a inner circle of friends. It avoids you looking like a spammer plus it makes you seem and feel more real. In addition to varying up your messages you should personalize your messages to make them feel as if you're having a one on one conversation with that person directly. It pulls down peoples guard, and just makes them feel special.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

For example: "How you doing my friend? How is life out there in your neck of the woods? I'm great living life and just having a ball meeting people like you on Facebook! I hope you add me so we can continue this conversation on a more personal level. I so look forward to talking with you so please don't be a stranger."

See me personally I would respond to that message because it sounds as if the person was talking directly to me not a just some generalized message.

#3. Be weary of the hater: Now I hope most of you know what a hater is but a hater is a person who does something to either A) Spite you B) Cause they don't like you and don't have a concrete reason why (They just do) and/or C) They'd love to not see your face ever again and will bring you down by any means necessary. So when you do add friends out of 100 people there is that 1% - 2% of them that just aren't going to like you no matter what. They'll send you a rude message, say they don't need or want your product, then block you and flag you. It just is, so what do I do in these situations? I send them a nice message a thank you of sorts, leave it at that, and hope for the best. If they do flag you then just lay of off adding friends on Facebook for awhile and focus on Networking and Chatting for 3-4 days, then resume business as usual.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Other than that just have fun don't spam your opportunity 90 - 10 my friends. 90% content and 10% opportunity, the funny thing about content is that it speaks for itself my friend, and it makes people more willing to click on that link you want them to click on.

Advice on Relationships and Maintaining Good Friendships

So you think you got it all figured out huh? You're making money on autopilot and you think you don't have to do a thing huh? Wrong! You're just hitting the base of the hill of Marketing because you see even if you are making money on autopilot if you don't know how to Network who is going to take you serious? Not many even if you've been able to develop a decent down-line, you've got to position yourself as a leader or you are going to hit a wall... You might even wake up one morning with your down-line questioning your leadership or worse, to find people leaving your business. Then all you have left is a bad reputation and a loss of your once huge income base.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

So.... How do you avoid this? You need to understand building relationships and what a friendship means to Marketer. All you're really doing when you are Networking is creating relationships, which can in turn lead to friendships. That's why this concept is so very important. People need to know that no matter how large you may become in the industry that you will always be the guy that they can approach for information. People also want to know that you are still the person they can ask question and know that they will get answers without being seen as a nuisance. All people really want is to be loved and if you show love, kindness, and gentleness along with remaining real and professional people will take you serious not matter what you say.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

What does this have to do with me? A lot my friends because of the simple fact that more then likely if you're reading this you have some kind of down-line, or database full of potential prospects that you're trying to convince to join your business. I love social media for the simple fact that I can network and gain information from mass amounts of people without even leaving my house, and in turn get these same at the least take a look at if not join my business. By just spending a little time talking with people and getting to know them you are on the path of building and forming relationships with future business partners. This is some of the best most crucial friendship advice I can give you my friends.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I see so many people on these same networks that are just really spamming their opportunity repeatedly to the point that when they genuinely stop and talk to someone about their business, the prospect that they are trying to build a relationship with no longer takes them serious. Which leads them to not even want to network or meet new business leaders who are serious about management relationships, and building their brand. That's why I think it's so important that when building a friendship online people need to wait to get to know the person, or people that they are marketing to before they even mention their opportunity. Give them free content, give them advice, show people that you know a little about what you're talking about and you will begin to see mass results on a scale that you never even thought possible.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

It goes back to the story of the tortoise and the hare. The hare was so cocky that he was faster then the tortoise that he kept taking breaks during the race, relaxing not even considering the fact that the tortoise was going at a steady pace and not getting tired out unlike the hare. The hare also did not respect the tortoise as an opponent which is what mainly lead to his down fall. So take your time, build relationships, establish leadership, because you know what? Your competition the spammers, the non-leadership oriented type are the ones who are going to lose the race in the end, with you standing with your hand raised in victory!
